Blossom Protect™
Biotechnological bactericide - The alternative to antibiotics
Blossom Protect™ is a highly effective biotechnological plant protection product used to fight fire blight in pome fruit.
The highly infectious disease typically attacks the tree via the blossoms during the flowering period. Blossom Protect™ contains highly efficient microorganisms which block the fire blight pathogen, Erwinia amylovora, from colonizing the apple blossom. The biotechnological product works through natural competition for space and nutrients between pathogens and antagonists on the blossom. As Blossom Protect™ acts competitively and does not attack the metabolism of bacterial pathogens there is no risk of resistance even with frequent applications.

Biotechnological fungicide in storage disease
Blossom Protect™ is a highly efficient biological plant protection product used to control storage diseases.
Storage pathogens like Penicillium spp., Botrytis sp., Monilia spp. and Neofabraea sp. (Gloeosporium) may cause significant losses in pome fruit production (apple, pear and quince). Blossom Protect™ contains highly efficient microorganisms which block the storage disease pathogens, such as Penicillium spp., Botrytis sp., Monilia spp. and Neofabraea sp. (Gloeosporium) from colonizing infection sites on the apple surface. The biotechnological product works through natural competition for space and nutrients between pathogens and antagonists on the fruit surface. As Blossom Protect™ acts competitively and does not attack the metabolism of fungal pathogens there is no risk of resistance even with frequent applications.
